Bad News!

Unfortunately, my Xbox 360 has gotten the Red Rings of Death. So our videos will be delayed until I get my Xbox 360 back. This is the 2nd time I've gotten Red Rings of Death within 3 years. Anyways, fear not, I will still be making videos. I've been working on a very difficult but important glitch in Halo 2 (I still have my Original Xbox). As most of you have voted, you all don't mind me making more Halo 2 Glitch videos. I promised that any glitch in Halo 2 I make a video of from now on would be big. Well that's what I'm doing. I'll reveal more details about the glitch later.

In the meantime, I will also be releasing more soundtrack videos on my Halomusicians Channel. As you all should know, Halomusicians was a branch of Gold Team Productions started about a year ago that's dedicated to releasing Video Game Soundtracks. It is basically the music department of our clan. Visit the channel here!

New Machinima On Its Way!

I've been working on a pretty big machinima project recently. This machinima is a bit different than what I've done in the past. This is a collaborative machinima which involves not just my production clan, but also 3 others. In other words, I'm not the only one filming this time. The three other clans are Kjski9050productions, HaloForDummies, and H3GP. A lot of other volunteers were involved as well. We're still working on the machinima at the moment but it should be finished soon.

Sorry for the lack of updates in the past month or so. I was thinking of getting around to it everyday but never got to it. Well, time for updates again. Secret Experimental Glitch and post 117

First off, I'd like to mention that this is post #117 which is Master Chief's number. Just an interesting thing I noticed. Anyways, in my last post, I mentioned an experimental glitch. Well the glitch is still experimental but I may be releasing a video of it very soon. It's still experimental but we want everybody's help to find a solid method of perfecting the glitch. Updates 9/12

With Halo 3: ODST coming out soon, we're already preparing for the release. We plan on making some videos of ODST. In the meantime, we still have a few more Halo 3 Glitch videos to release before ODST comes out. As most of you should have noticed by now, our new intro for our video contains ODST music. The new intro is going to used for every video now but we may make some minor changes to it every now and then.

Before we list our upcoming videos, we want to make an update for our Music Department (Halomusicians). They have recently acquired real full-length tracks from the official ODST soundtrack. Go to the Halomusicians channel on Youtube to listen to the ODST soundtracks.

Updates

Despite the efforts of the best glitchers in my clan and other rival clans, we have yet to reach the scarab gun. However, we are extremely close. It's a difficult glitch and every time we do it, we get even closer. We're still working on it. But we're kind of taking a break from it every now and then. I haven't declared it impossible yet. I still think we can get to the Scarab Gun. In the meantime, I'll be releasing some small glitch videos about Halo 3, Halo 2, and Halo 2 PC. It seems most people voted to see Halo 2 vids again. I'll keep the poll running for 1 more week. In the meantime, you'll start seeing more variety of Halo glitch vids. The most recent one was today about Halo 2 PC and the secret silenced smg in that game.

Secret Glitch/Easter Egg Revealed

In the last post, you saw that we had a list of our upcoming glitch videos. One of the videos on the list was a secret glitch. Well, you can probably guess what it is. It's been floating around on Youtube and other forums a lot lately.

The Secret Glitch is:

The Halo 3 Scarab Gun

How do we know it's the real deal? We don't. All we know is that there is a hidden Assault Rifle on The Storm. So far, only 2 people have reached it. Both of them are modders. One of them says its real and the other says it's fake. We don't know which one to trust so we are investigating it ourselves. We are extremely close to reaching the Scarab Gun. We are telling you this now because we want the whole community to participate. This is no longer a race to see who can reach the Scarab Gun first. This is a quest to find the Scarab Gun or to prove it's fake. We invite you to join us and every other glitching group/clan out there to help us find this Scarab Gun. If you have any information about how to reach it. Please share it with the rest of us.

We already know the exact location of this Scarab Gun. The only problem we have is reaching it. Thanks for your help and support everyone!

A lot has been going on recently. We've been extremely busy investigating a new secret glitch which we can't tell you just yet. In the meantime, we have been spending some time in Halo 2 again and we believe we have found some new glitches. That's right, new glitches in Halo 2. We have several new videos coming up. But we're not sure if we should add the new glitches in Halo 2 to the list. We'll start a poll to see if people want to see Halo 2 glitches again. Major Announcement

General Heed Productions is now Gold Team Productions. I have decided to merge my two clans into one because I felt it would more convenient. Since most people in my clan are in both clans, keeping two seperate clans would be pointless. Thus, merging was the best choice.

Our next few Youtube videos will still be under the name General Heed Productions. But we will eventually transition to Gold Team Productions for the rest of our videos. We're also going to keep this blog the same. So you won't really notice that much difference even if you are in the clan. The only difference will be the intros and titles in our videos.

News

Sorry for the lack of updates, but recent events in our clan has slowed us down a bit. We are currently having some possible security issues in the clan as well as an inflation of clan members. We had to devote some time to solving these problems. But rest assured, we'll be back soon. In fact, our next video should be released by this Friday. You see, while we were gone, we also found several new glitches. Some of them are pretty big. So stay tuned!

Note: Please don't ask us about the security issues. Everything that goes on in the clan is top-secret.

Technical Difficulties

Due to technical difficulties, our next video has been delayed. But don't worry, we'll be back in action sooner than you expect.

3,000 Subscribers!

As some of you may have already noticed, we have recently reached 3,000 subscribers which is a significant milestone. To celebrate, we will release another video in a few days instead of a few weeks this time. Unfortunately, we won't be releasing any special videos for 3,000 subscribers but we may release one for 3,200 subscribers. Why? Because 32 is our favorite number. I can't discuss anything about that special video just yet. So in the meantime, the next video you will see in a few days will be either:

Higher Quality Videos!

You may have noticed that in our previous two videos, our HD quality is a lot better than our original HD quality videos. We now have access to newer HD editing software and we will now have all of our videos published in this newer HD quality. Thanks for all your support everyone!

New Glitches Discovered

A new glitch has been discovered. The glitch can be named many different things, but we decided to name it the Infinite Time Glitch on the Last Level. That's right, that means the floor will never fall on the last level during the driving part so you never run out of time. The second glitch is how to get rid of the music during the final cutscene so you can hear only the sound effects. These videos will be released soon.

Updates and delays... again...

Well, here is my new policy, I will try to stick to the schedules I have announced. But if I somehow discover a new glitch, then that will interupt the schedule as I will try to get it on Youtube as fast as possible like the one I just discovered. That's right, a new glitch. More details will be released soon.

A glitch once thought to be impossible has been discovered!

For those of you who have played the campaign, most of you should know about the level The Covenant where you must disable the towers generating the shields protecting the citadel. Well, the first tower is the one you disable first. The second tower is the one Arbiter disables. The third is the one Johnson is supposed to disable but he was captured there and you have to disable it for him. No matter what, you cannot enter the 2nd tower. You can only land on the outside of it to get the skull and the terminal that is there. Most people have said that it's impossible to get inside of the second tower. That WAS true until now. A new glitch has been discovered that allows you enter the 2nd tower and see what's inside. A video will be released very soon that explains how to get into the 2nd tower. You will be shocked by what's inside the tower.

Well, sorry I haven't been updating my blog for awhile. I've been a bit busy recently and a lot of things have been going on. As you all know, Halo 3: ODST is coming out soon and a new trailer was recently released. I have decided to continue glitching in that game if it is possible. Now let's get on with the updates. Updates and Truths...

Ok, let's start with the truth. The Halo 3: ODST screenshots are obviously fake. I made them as a joke. Second, my recent UFO video is somewhat also fake. Yes, there really is a light outside of Sandbox, but it's not really a UFO. So anyways, on to the updates. The other videos that were in the recent poll, will be released in the order that people voted for. However, there will be one video released soon before those other 2 videos. I want to keep that video a suprise for now. So stay tuned!

Leaked Screenshots of Halo 3: ODST Campaign!!!

One of our sources (I'm not going to say who because I know you will all spam him with messages and friends requests) has sent me some leaked screenshots of the upcoming game Halo 3: ODST's campaign. Unfortunately, I didn't get a lot of screenshots (only 3). But they seem pretty interesting. Our source tells us that it's from a campaign level called "Stealth Strike". I think it's obvious that Halo 3: ODST will require a lot of stealth tactics and it seems you are allowed to craw on the ground like in Call of Duty. Upgrades to General Heed Productions

In the beginning, we had pretty much nothing to edit or record with. We just simply used a camera to record the screen. Then we came into posession of a DVD Recorder which lets us record high quality videos. It was much better than a capture card that most people use. We also began using Windows Movie Maker a lot. A year later, we upgraded ourselves once again with HD videos through Movie Maker. And now, we are going to have yet another upgrade. We have recently aquired new software for editing which is a lot better than Windows Movie Maker. We will still use Movie Maker for getting HD videos, but we will be using that new software for editing most of the videos. Stay tuned for more updates and remember to vote on our next video! You choose what you want to see next!!!

Episode 4 Coming Soon

Episode 4 of The Elephant Chronicles is coming soon. It will be named "The Great Sacrifice". The plot details are right below.

The group is now once again re-united. They have also discovered a second Elephant hidden in the desert. The leader has figured out a plan for how they can get out of the desert and still bring the Elephants with them. But they must first defeat all the Elites and to do that, a great sacrifice will be made.

That is the short summary for now. More details will be revealed later. So stay tuned!

HUGE DISCOVERY MADE!!!

Recently, while filming Episode 3 of The Elephant Chronicles, I spotted something strange. I saw something on my screen for just a few seconds. At first I thought it was nothing, but when I went back into Theater Mode, we discovered something amazing! What we discovered isn't that new actually. In fact, there's been a rumor about it that's been going around for years and until now, no one who has enough credibility has been able to prove it. What we found is, The Ghost of Sandtrap! In some of my previous videos, I tried to prove to people that the ghosts of Halo don't exist and that they're just mods. Well, I have recently just witnessed first hand, a ghost of Halo. 

This calls for one more glitch video! So, I will release an upcoming videos list again. It's been a while since I've done that. So here is what you can expect:

The Golden Elephant

Unfortunately, the next episode will be delayed again. But for now, I will be releasing several new screenshots shortly. The first one will be right under this post. In one of my previous posts, I showed a screenshot of a Golden Warthog. A lot of people asked me how I did it, but it's my little secret right now and only a few people in my clan know about it. I will tell you that the Golden Warthog glitch can be used on any vehicle regardless of size which is why I present to you, The Golden Elephant!

After having the group split up, General Heed and Hunter1495, receive a radio message from the other two members, Kusday and his friend. The message was a mayday message requesting backup because they are under heavy fire from the elites. However, General and Hunter don't have weapons to help the others. So they decide to get the Elephant back online and use it to go rescue the others. But when they arrive, they make another amazing discovery.

Possible Delay!

Episode 2 Coming This Friday!

Episode 2 of The Elephant Chronicles will be released this Friday if all goes well. I won't tell the exact plot of the episode, but the title of the episode is called "Two Betrayals". It's kind of a reference to a level in Halo 1 but in this episode, you might have to take it a bit more literally. Anyways, we have all the shots filmed. We are now just working on the voice acting as well as some of the editing. Stay tuned for more updates!

The Elephant Chronicles

This will be our upcoming 5-7 episode mini-series. The plot has been explained in the previous post. We will begin working on this machinima in a few days. The episodes will probably be released once a week every Friday. The first episode probably won't be up until the Friday after this coming Friday. The reason is that we need some time to film and we still need to release our 100th video. So it's going to be a busy month. 

Changes in Plans and NEW episodic series

I'M GOING OVER 100 VIDEOS!!! maybe...

I might be cancelling that long machinima I had planned and which I accounced in an earlier post. Instead, I think I might actually make a short episodic series. It's going to be called The Elephant Chronicles.

The story of it will be a group of Halo 3 players discover a lost and forgotten vehicle known as the Elephant. However, shortly after finding the Elephants, they realize they cannot return because their air vehicles were destroyed by a hoard of creatures that lurk in the area. With no way to leave the area, the players are forced to camp out on the Elephants and wait for help to come. They must also defend the Elephant from the creatures that hide in shadows. 

Glitches vs Mods

Use the poll at the right to decide which one you think is better. Consider every aspect such as campaign, battles, and map building. This poll might decide the outcome of a future video. Mods, in case you didn't know, are basically hacking the game and using cheats like auto-aim or other stuff like that. 

Next Machinima!!!

Yay!!! One More!!! Well, this machinima will be slightly different from all the others I have done. It will still look and feel like an action machinima, but the voice acting will be different. The story will be narrated from a 3rd person point of view. So the characters in the machinima won't really be talking that much if they talk at all. Instead, the entire story will be narrated and sort of explained as it goes on. This machinima shouldn't be as long as my last one and the plot isn't too deep either. In fact, here is a summary.

PLOT SUMMARY:

The story is actually focused around me (The Glitch Master). In my efforts to statisfy everyone on Youtube who have a higher demand for better glitches, I set out to find the ultimate glitch. Somewhere deep within Halo 3, I discover a glitch beyond any other glitch. However, all that power corrupts me and I turn on all of my friends who helped me find it. My friends realized how powerful the glitch has made me and they know they must stop me but they aren't strong enough. So, they hire the top 5 members of MLG to stop me. The fight between me (using the ultimate glitch) and the best MLG players only lasts less than a minute with me not even being scratched. 

My friends decided that they should try another approach. They hire as many super-noob players to try and stop me. They use the infamous plasma pistol-battle rifle noob combo which also fails against me. The fight didn't last very long either. Running out of options, my friends hire a last resort person. They hire the Ultimate Modder. This time, the fight lasts awhile going through several modded and glitched maps. Eventually, we are both taken to a strange new modded map. By extreme luck, the modder managed to use the mods on this map to cause so much damage to me that the glitch is knocked out of me and I return to normal although I am seriously injured. 

After that, I realized that the glitch is still within me and it would start taking over again soon. So I decided to stop searching for glitches as that will feed the ultimate glitch in me. I decided to leave the Halo 3 universe for good to somewhere else where the ultimate glitch can't harm anyone. After the credits, 2 years later, two players new to glitching found traces of the ultimate glitch and they follow those traces to the realm where I found it. There both of them unlock several ultimate glitches..

The Future of General Heed Productions

As you all should know by now, I will cease making videos soon. I will stop at 100 videos. I actually had two more videos planned which would make it 101 videos but I don't have time to make the second video so it may have to stop at 100. 

There has been a lot of people requesting that I not stop making videos. I really don't want to stop but this is the way things have to be. But I will do my best to satisfy your requests. 

So here is my new policy. I will cease making glitch videos and large machinimas at 100. After that, I will probably make small short videos if I have time. These short videos may include montages, music videos, or special announcement videos. It may even be possible that I might release a few more small glitches or big glitches if I find anymore. 

Now, let's finish this up with my next and probably last video. It will be a glitch video. It will not be about one glitch though. It will be about several glitches big and small. One of the glitches in that video will be another remake of my very first glitch. Stay tuned for more info!

The Meaning of Glitching

It seems that recently people have forgotton the true purpose of glitching. It seems everyone expects glitchers to find some super glitch that everyone can use in matchmaking to cheat. Well that's not the point of glitching. Why do people glitch? It's simple. For fun... There are different kinds of gamers out there. Pros, glitchers, modders, ordinary people. The pros are those that spend most of their time in matchmaking.

I would like to make a quick comment about the pros. A TRUE PRO IS SOMEONE THAT USES THE *NOOB COMBO*. The noob combo is using a charged plasma pistol to take out the enemy shields and then switch to a Battle Rifle to get a one hit kill. Pro's don't like it because it makes them look like a noob. The truth is, it's one of the most effective combos. Pro's pretty much hate something that can kill them easily. Thats why they hate rocket and shotgun noobs. There is nothing wrong with using power weapons. It's a legitimate and efficient strategy. Isn't that the point of matchmaking in Halo 3? To get the most kills efficiently? 

That is also why pros hate glitchers. Glitches make it hard for us to get killed and makes it easier for us to kill them. They hate this and they tell everyone else to hate us. Ordinary people are influenced by pros because they look up to those pro players. So these ordinary people also hate glitchers because the pros hate us. Now, when it comes to modders, their opinions are mixed for the most part. But they generally hate glitchers. They believe that their mods are superior to our glitches which is not always true because several mods can't be used on Xbox Live while all glitches can. Modders and Pros are jealous. They impress ordinary players who follow their example. 

Each group (besides ordinary players) are dedicated to what they do. They do it for a purpose. But glitching is different. Pros try to find the best non-noob weapon combos to get kills. Modders make modded maps to impress other players and make themselves look cool. But glitchers. We are different. We glitch because we just want to enjoy a game beyond what it was originally meanty for. Thanks to glitches, we can now explore new areas. Find new tricks that we can use to mess around in the game and more. 

So here is a message to everyone that is not a glitcher but enjoys glitching. You all expect too much from us glitchers. We are just here to do glitches for fun. We post our videos so you too can enjoy what we enjoy. Please don't pressure us to try and find super glitches. We find what we find. It's a take it or leave it deal. Please don't expect a lot from us. Don't say a glitch is useless cause that's not the reason we do glitches. Would you rather we not do glitches at all? Ponder this message carefully before any of you criticize a glitcher. Thanks for your time!

Veoh.com Upload Complete

The machinima has finished uploading to Veoh.com. The Youtube version will be uploaded tomorrow. So if you want to see the machinima right away, you can watch it on Veoh. The reason why the Youtube version comes second is because I need to split it into two parts unlike Veoh which lets me upload videos longer than 10 minutes. For some reason, the video on Youtube might have some audio problems. I'm not sure why but the sound may get distorted sometimes. I don't know if this happens to everyone but there really isn't anything I can do if it does occur for everyone. Anyways, here is the link:

The Machinima has finally been completed!

I just finished the machinima today voices and everything. I will first upload it to Veoh.com right away. Then I might upload it to Machinima.com. After that, I will split the video into two parts and upload those parts onto Youtube. As each upload is completed, I will post the link to that video. The Machinima is still coming, don't worry. I've decided I'm going to go over 100 videos a little bit. It probably won't be over 105. The machinima is almost finished. I just need a bit more time. So in the meantime, I'm going to continue releasing my final glitch videos. Here is the list:

I made this in about 5 minutes. One of my friends made a joke about it today and I thought it 

was pretty funny so I decided to make this little screenshot. I call it: Call Of Duty - The Revolution. Most likely there will never be a Call of Duty game like this, but this was just for fun!

UFO SPOTTED IN HALO 3!!!

While doing my Time Travel Glitch on the Covenant, I had spotted a UFO. It flew past my Hornet and caused my Hornet to fail and crash in the water which caused me to die. I managed to go to Theater Mode and get a closeup screenshot of the UFO. Take a look. 

It's unlike anything I have ever seen in Halo 3. You can see an outline of my Hornet in the background. It flew over my Hornet which, as I've said, caused my Hornet to stop working. I'll see if I can manage to make a video of it for Youtube. In the meantime, I should have my next video on Youtube by Friday. It will be about the Half-Infected Brutes. The Machinima will come out soon. Just not yet. 

New Video For Now...

As I've said in the last post, my Machinima is going to be delayed for now. It's 95% complete right now. All that's left is some of the voice parts. So, in the meantime, I'm going to release a new video withing the next two days. It is a recently discovered glitch which is still somewhat of a mystery to us. We are going to call the video: Halo 3 - Half Infected Brutes Glitch. 

This video also has a second purpose. It is to test how well my video looks in full widescreen and HD. If all goes well, then my machinima will follow this video. So stay tuned!

Updates on the Machinima

It seems my upcoming Machinima will have to be delayed a bit longer. The problem is that I need more voice actors. Using my own voice isn't enough. Once I have enough voice actors, we will finish the movie and release it as soon as possible. 

The True Reason Why I'm Quitting

As you all should know, I will stop making videos for Youtube soon. Once I reach 100 videos there will be no more. Why am I doing this? Well, as I mentioned before, I am a lot more busy now with school. But that's not the full reason. 

The main reason I am quitting is because PEOPLE ARE STEALING MY VIDEOS. I'm not just talking about people who remake my videos and say they are the founder of whatever glitches the video is about. I'm talking about the people who somehow download my videos and reupload them. They attempt to claim they are the owner by removing the titles and credits I have added, and then replace them with their own saying they are the founders. I am sick and tired of these people. 

So, to end all this stealing of my videos. I will stop making videos once I reach 100. After that point, anything new I discover will not be put on Youtube. So, even if I discover some secret weapon or secret vehicle, I will not post it anymore. You can thank the people who steal my videos. Enjoy my last few videos.

Widescreen Problems

I have decided to make the whole movie in widescreen now for Youtube. However, I had to re-encode everything. While the transition was pretty smooth for the most part, there are some small problems with the audio. So for now, progress on the Machinima is going backwards a bit. But don't worry, I'll have the problems fixed within a week. Stay tuned for more updates!

Possible Widescreen Format

I have figured out how to get my videos to fit in the widescreen format for Youtube. So from now on, all of my videos will be in widescreen and they will still be in HD format. However, my recent and upcoming machinima has been encoded in standard resolution. This means that if I want to get my machinima to fit in widescreen, I'm going to have to re-encode all of the video clips in it. I could do that, but it will delay the release date of the video which is sometime next week. I have created a poll for you to vote in to decide what you want the next Machinima to look like. 

Time Travel - A Halo 3 Machinima F.A.Q.s

I've been getting a lot of questions about our upcoming Machinima. So, I thought I'd answer them here.

Q: Is this a movie about your Time Travel glitch?

A: No, this machinima has nothing to do with the Time Travel Glitch.

Q: What is the relation between this movie and your Time Travel Glitch?

A: There really isn't any relation. However, it is true that this movie is a reference to the Time Travel Glitch since it was one of my most popular glitches.

Q: How long is the movie?

A: Currently, it is about 22 minutes, but that could increase to 25 minutes.

Q: What are you making this? I thought your last Machinima was your last?

A: I did say the last one was my last, but I decided to make one more.

Q: What do you use to record your movie?

A: I use a LITEON DVD RECORDER.

Q: What do you use to edit your movie?

A: I use Windows Movie Maker. I know there is better stuff out there, but Movie Maker is really all I need to make a good machinima.

Q: Will there be 10 year olds voicing the movie?

A: This video will mainly feature about 2-3 people's voices. Everyone is generally new to my machinimas. I will be voicing most of the movie though. 

Q: When will this movie come out?

A: I will announce the official release date soon. But for now, you can expect it to be released before the end of January. 

Problems... (But a treat for those who read)

Alright, I'll get right down to the point. Uploading to Veoh.com is currently not the best idea anymore. This is because they no longer syndicate videos to Youtube. I originally wanted to post with them so they might be able to put videos longer than 10 minutes on my Youtube channel. However, I have found a new site that will do the same thing. That sight is called TubeMogul.com. I am currently in the process of testing their service. So stay tuned!

NOW FOR YOUR TREAT!

You've all been patiently waiting for weeks for my new Machinima to come out. It won't come out this week but it should come out before this month is over. Maybe even next week! But anyways, to ease your curiosity of what this movie is about, I'm going to release the synopsis (plot). 

SYNOPSIS:

This movie begins with a curious scientist who wants to discuss the possibilities of Time Travel with a fellow professor. However, his friend rejects his ideas. Determined that he can still achieve Time Travel, the scientist walks away saying he will bring back some proof. 2 years later, the scientist has finished a prototype of his Time Machine. He immedietly uses it to travel to the future to look for something to bring back. He stops travels about 1,000 years into the future as his first stop. 

Here the Time Traveller asks a few questions to the people of Philadelphia in the year 3,007. He even gets a free tour of the city. However, not finding anything interesting to bring back, he decides to continue traveling into the future. This time he only travels 5 years before he notices something is wrong with the city. 

As soon as he gets out of the Time Machine, he is immedietly arrested because he is not at an evacuation center. One of the cops mention that the city is under attack by powerful aliens. Suddenly, the ground shakes due to an alien seismic bomb. The Time Traveller escapes from the cops who drive away. He then runs to his Time Machine and begins going to the future again. 

He is now very curious about who is going to win the war. While he is time travelling, he watches the City of Philadelphia collapse. Several hundred thousand years later, he watches the planet go through an Ice Age. The finally, after millions of years, the Ice Age is over and it appears that civilization has begun again. 

He leaves the Time Machine to talk to someone nearby. This person says he is the leader of the resistance against the Hunters. Before the Time Traveller could ask who the Hunters are, a Horn sounds and the Hunters have come to hunt the villagers. 

Now the Time Traveller must help to liberate these villagers from the Hunters and their mysterious leader.

Uploading to Machinima.com

It seems several of you have voted to have me upload my next and final machinima onto Machinima.com. I have considered this option and I am currently still reviewing my options with Machinima.com. While I already have an account with them, I am not sure if I want to upload to them. There are several reasons why I am hesitant. 

1. My video isn't guarenteed to make it on Youtube through Machinima. 
2. In terms of views, I wouldn't get much through Machinima, or Veoh
3. In my opinion, my Machinima probably can't compete with the true professional machinimas like the ones that DigitalPh33r makes.

So, I'm most likely not going to upload to Machinima.com. But, I have considered a new option. I might upload to Google Video. I will still upload to Veoh though. 

Decision Made!

I have decided how I am going to post the next Machinima. I will split it into 2 parts on Youtube. Both parts will be in HD quality. After that, I will upload the full video to Veoh.com. I will post the link on my Youtube Channel. Since posting to Veoh takes awhile, I will post on their website first. So those of you who visit Veoh.com a lot will get to see my next machinima first. The Youtube version of my machinima will be posted soon after I finished posting it on Veoh.com. I will give more updates as information becomes available. Feel free to keep voting in the polls as I may change my mind. 

Less Compromises

In my last post, I stated that the next machinima was probably going to be well over 1 GB. But I guess I was wrong. I have most of the video finished right now and it is at 999.7 MB. Just about 0.3 MB away from 1 GB. Now that is my video without the voice parts. After I add the voices, it should go up, but not way past 1 GB. So basically, I can split the video on Youtube, and still have both parts in HD quality. I'm currently looking for alternate websites to post the full video. I'm still considering Machinima.com but most likely I won't do that. 

If anyone knows any video sharing sites besides Youtube, post a comment on this post and I might consider uploading to that site. 

Compromises

There are several problems with our next machinima movie being on Youtube.

1. The video is over 10 minutes so we can't upload it on Youtube.
2. The video's file size will be fairly large, probably over 1 GB, so we can't upload it.
3. Due to the large file size, HD quality is going to be a problem

Here are our compromises to these problems.

1. We split the video into two parts. Then we upload the full video on other sites like Veoh.com or Hulu.com
2. After splitting the video, each parts should be just about under 1 GB
3. Even after splitting the video, the files may still be too large if we go HD. So we may have to forget about HD quality for this video. We should still be able to release it in High Quality.

To those of you who never heard of Veoh or Hulu, they are video sites just like Youtube. Only they don't have as many video limitations as Youtube does. This means we can upload videos with even better HD quality than Youtube without size limitations. Plus, we can upload the entire movie without having to split it in two parts. Currently, the estimated length of the movie will be around 20 minutes. Our longest but best movie yet. Stay tuned for more details. 

Time Travel - A Halo 3 Machinima

This will be my next machinima. The name is still being debated upon but for now, this is what we're going to name it. So, for the next week or even the next two weeks, you may not see any new videos on my channel. This is because I will be focusing all of our resources on finishing this new machinima. In fact, it's already half way done. 

Now this Machinima, it will be my final one. I realize in my previous movie, Officer Bob The Unsuccessful Cop, I said that it was my final one. Well, I decided to make one more. The machinimas I made before Officer Bob were all attempts at dramatic action movies. Those attempts failed obviously. So, this Time Travel movie, will be my final attempt at a non-comedic action movie. Officer Bob was a comedy which was semi-successful in my opinion. 

I won't release anymore details on this movie for now. I will only tell you that it will be good! It will have more people in it who are better actors. Plus, the music that will be in the movie will greatly enhance the drama. So, stay tuned for more details!!!

UPDATE: We do have a slight problem with this video. It's going to be longer than 10 minutes which we won't be able to upload onto youtube without splitting it in two parts. So here is our solution. We will upload two parts onto Youtube. We will then upload the full movie onto Veoh.com which is like a second Youtube. I'm also considering uploading to Machinima. But we will talk about that later.
