Important Message from the Supreme Leader

To all of our fans, I, General Heed, leader of Gold Team Productions, will be stepping down as leader of the clan. Things have come up recently and I will be too busy to continue leading the clan. Therefore, I am passing on leadership and ownership of the clan to "icanhazchezbuga". You may message him on xbox live if you wish. He will continue making videos in my place. I may eventually return as leader again. But at this point, i'm not sure. It's been a great 2.5 years with all of you. Thanks for all your support! I have confidence in this new leader. Over the next week or so, I will be releasing my final videos that I'll be making. After that, the rest is up to the new leader. Once again, thank you all!

New Machinimas

Yes I know there hasn't been an update for awhile. Fear not, we are working on machinimas now until Halo: Reach is released. More updates will be posted soon. This update is to let you know that we're still in this. So stay tuned!

One final Halo: Reach beta glitch video

As you are all aware, the Halo: Reach Beta will be ending soon. We will make one final glitch video before it gets shut down. This last video will also include multiple glitches like the previous installments. This video will be rushed a little because we are very short on time. We currently only have 1 glitch recorded and we still have a few more to record. Unfortunately, if we can't get everything recorded by the time the Beta is shut down then we'll have to just release whatever we have. Anyways, stay tuned for more updates.

More Halo: Reach Glitch Videos Coming Soon!

We will be releasing even more glitch videos from the Halo: Reach Beta soon. In fact, there might be another one later tonight. So stay tuned for more updates and details!

And... We're Back!!!

We have fixed all of our equipment and hardware issues and we will begin producing videos again immediately. In fact, our first video will go up on Youtube sometime later today. This will be our first glitch video in a long time. So we hope you enjoy it. Yes it's in the Halo: Reach Beta! So stay tuned!

All video projects delayed until further notice

Due to some technical difficulties which I have mentioned in one of my previous posts several months ago, I cannot continue producing more videos until the issue has been solved. The last time I mentioned these technical issues, they were fairly minor back then and only prevented me from consistently producing 1080p videos. But now, the problems are getting far worse. Even typing up this update can cause some of those problems to happen. What are the problems? Well here you go:

I have a Dell XPS M1530 Laptop which has a nVideo GeForce 8400M Graphics Card. Some faulty manufacturing in the M1530 series causes the graphics card to overheat very quickly. Normally if the graphics card overheats, the laptop will just shutdown or freeze. After it cools down, I can start my laptop back up again. Well, after several times of this happening, the GPU and the motherboard start to become damaged from the heating and cooling cycles. Now whenever my graphics card overheats, my screen goes crazy flashing all these lines and colors. Sometimes it even causes my laptop to get the Blue Screen of death. I'm running Windows Vista so a blue screen isn't supposed to happen and if it does, it's usually bad. Recently, the problem is getting worse and occurring more frequently. Basically my laptop is suffering from the PC version of the Xbox 360's Red Rings of Death. For the moment, my laptop can still be used. But anything that requires a lot of graphics power can cause a lot of problems. And since I'm running Windows Vista, all those fancy Windows Aero effects aren't exactly helping. So for the time being, I disabled all those effects and reverted to Windows Classic Theme which pretty much makes Windows Vista look like a mix of Windows XP and Windows 2000. Anyways, I've already contacted Dell and they're going to have someone fix my laptop. But until then, I won't be producing any videos because my laptop is at risk of a complete unrecoverable hardware failure much like the Red Rings of Death. I'll keep you all updated about the progress of my laptop's repair. So stay tuned!

One Final Effort - A Halo 2 Machinima

Well as you all know, today is the last day of Xbox Live for Halo 2 and all original xbox games. We've decided to spend the day playing the game one last time and we even made a quick 2 part machinima in Halo 2. The 1st part has been completed today and we will be uploading it onto Youtube later today or tomorrow. So stay tuned!
