New Glitches

Sorry for the lack of updates in awhile. I'm still making Youtube videos, but updating my blog is something that I don't usually have too much time for. Anyways, we have tons of new glitches in Halo: Reach that we are going to release soon. Here's the list:

1. Halo: Reach Glitch - Time Travel 2 on Winter Contingency
2. Halo: Reach Glitch - Time Travel on Pillar of Autumn
3. Halo: Reach Glitch - How to fly a Serpah (No Mods)

Stay tuned!

Golden Pillar of Autumn Glitch

Not sure if it's worth making a video of, but if you all remember my special glitch in Halo 3 to turn any vehicle golden regardless of size, then you'll definitely recognize this glitch. That's right, I figured out how to turn the entire Pillar of Autumn gold. It doesn't exactly work the same way as the Halo 3 method, but nonetheless it is gold. Although it's a different style than in Halo 3. Here are some screenshots of the Golden Pillar of Autumn:

My return!

I, General Heed, the original Generalkidd, have returned to the clan. From now on, I am the Supreme Leader of Gold Team again and I will be leading video production again.
I would like to thank icanhazchezbuga for leading the clan while I was gone. He's done a great job.
Now then, on with my updates:

The Fall of Gold Team

The trailer for our new machinima "The Fall of Gold Team" is now up on Youtube.

We'll announce the plot details later. But I'm sure you can figure out what the machinima will be about from the title.

My Return... Sort of.... And Updates...

Well, icanhazchezbuga is still the leader of Gold Team. However, I will be semi-returning. I won't be returning to the Xbox 360 just yet. At least not for several more months. However, I will be able to continue producing some glitch videos and machinimas on two PC games I recently acquired. Those games are Shadowrun and Universe At War: Earth Assault. What's special about those games is that even though they are PC games, they still allow you to play online with Xbox Live gamers. So as long as someone has Shadowrun or Universe At War on the Xbox 360, I can still play with them from the PC using Games For Windows Live.

Now then, we have an upcoming machinima planned. It will involve the use of Halo 3 (filmed by icanhazchezbuga), and Shadowrun + Universe At War. You are all invited to join and help out with the machinima. Positions in Halo 3 are currently full, so you'll need either the game Shadowrun or Universe At War to help. It doesn't necessarily have to be the PC version. It doesn't matter which version you get in fact. But we need more people who have those two games. If you have those games and wish to help out, you can post a comment to this update with your gamertag or you can send me a message on Youtube.

Important Message from the Supreme Leader

To all of our fans, I, General Heed, leader of Gold Team Productions, will be stepping down as leader of the clan. Things have come up recently and I will be too busy to continue leading the clan. Therefore, I am passing on leadership and ownership of the clan to "icanhazchezbuga". You may message him on xbox live if you wish. He will continue making videos in my place. I may eventually return as leader again. But at this point, i'm not sure. It's been a great 2.5 years with all of you. Thanks for all your support! I have confidence in this new leader. Over the next week or so, I will be releasing my final videos that I'll be making. After that, the rest is up to the new leader. Once again, thank you all!

New Machinimas

Yes I know there hasn't been an update for awhile. Fear not, we are working on machinimas now until Halo: Reach is released. More updates will be posted soon. This update is to let you know that we're still in this. So stay tuned!

One final Halo: Reach beta glitch video

As you are all aware, the Halo: Reach Beta will be ending soon. We will make one final glitch video before it gets shut down. This last video will also include multiple glitches like the previous installments. This video will be rushed a little because we are very short on time. We currently only have 1 glitch recorded and we still have a few more to record. Unfortunately, if we can't get everything recorded by the time the Beta is shut down then we'll have to just release whatever we have. Anyways, stay tuned for more updates.

All video projects delayed until further notice

Due to some technical difficulties which I have mentioned in one of my previous posts several months ago, I cannot continue producing more videos until the issue has been solved. The last time I mentioned these technical issues, they were fairly minor back then and only prevented me from consistently producing 1080p videos. But now, the problems are getting far worse. Even typing up this update can cause some of those problems to happen. What are the problems? Well here you go:

I have a Dell XPS M1530 Laptop which has a nVideo GeForce 8400M Graphics Card. Some faulty manufacturing in the M1530 series causes the graphics card to overheat very quickly. Normally if the graphics card overheats, the laptop will just shutdown or freeze. After it cools down, I can start my laptop back up again. Well, after several times of this happening, the GPU and the motherboard start to become damaged from the heating and cooling cycles. Now whenever my graphics card overheats, my screen goes crazy flashing all these lines and colors. Sometimes it even causes my laptop to get the Blue Screen of death. I'm running Windows Vista so a blue screen isn't supposed to happen and if it does, it's usually bad. Recently, the problem is getting worse and occurring more frequently. Basically my laptop is suffering from the PC version of the Xbox 360's Red Rings of Death. For the moment, my laptop can still be used. But anything that requires a lot of graphics power can cause a lot of problems. And since I'm running Windows Vista, all those fancy Windows Aero effects aren't exactly helping. So for the time being, I disabled all those effects and reverted to Windows Classic Theme which pretty much makes Windows Vista look like a mix of Windows XP and Windows 2000. Anyways, I've already contacted Dell and they're going to have someone fix my laptop. But until then, I won't be producing any videos because my laptop is at risk of a complete unrecoverable hardware failure much like the Red Rings of Death. I'll keep you all updated about the progress of my laptop's repair. So stay tuned!

Planet Zero Episode 2 - The Inhabitants

As promised, I would be releasing more details and the plot summary of Planet Zero Episode 2 once it's released. Yep, that means the episode is almost finished! It should be finished and released sometime later this week. If not, then next week. Now, the moment you've all been waiting, the synopsis of Planet Zero Episode 2:

The story continues off from episode 1 where it was mentioned that the whole team was split up when they went through the portal back in the Halo universe. This episode follows the military part of the team that went through the portal. A small squad of soldiers led by General Robertson lands inside an abandoned airport. There does not appear to be any signs of life around so they decide to split up to search the area. One soldier, Sergeant Coleman, comes across a small group of people while searching the area, however these people are not who they appear to be. Sgt. Coleman approaches the inhabitants only to be brutally attacked and torn apart by the zombie-like inhabitants. The other soldiers hear the scream and rush to Coleman to find out what happened. They see the zombies eating the body of sgt. coleman. General Robertson gives the order to open fire on the zombies. However, their weapons appear to be ineffective and the zombies don't even flinch when they were shot. The zombies then start charging at the soldiers who panic and split up. The zombies also split up and pursue the individual soldiers. Each soldier gets killed until the only one left is General Robertson. He tried to radio for help but no one responds. The zombies catch up to him and he runs outside onto the tarmac only to find that there's no way out. Backed up against the fence, the zombies are about ready to attack the General until an explosive shot from an AC-130 in the air destroys all the zombies. Another team of people then crash lands in front of the general. However, these people are not the team of scientists and soldiers from the Planet Prometheus. The leader of these people is Commander Hayes who led the attack on the planet back in episode 1. They take the General with them and the plane flies away.

Well, there you go, that's pretty much what Planet Zero Episode 2 is going to be like. Hope you'll enjoy it. Stay tuned for more updates!

Updates, Updates, More Updates!

Alright well, we have a lot to announce in this update! So first off, you may have noticed that our blog's url has been changed to reflect that of our current clan's name. Secondly, if you haven't noticed yet, we have added a lot of new features to our blog including a new chat feature which you can use to chat with any member of the Gold Team Productions Clan if they are online. I have also added a list of the top 5 clan leaders so you can add them or talk to them if you want. However, only the supreme leader (General Heed) has any power in the clan. So don't try manipulating any of the leaders to get into our clan. I will also be posting a list of all my other clan members later. But there are a lot of clan members so it could take me awhile. And now, I'm going to announce our upcoming videos.

*Planet Zero Episode 2: The Inhabitants (A Modern Warfare 2 Machinima)
*Top Secret Modern Warfare 2 Glitches
*Top Secret Halo 3 Glitches

Those are all we have planned for now. At the moment, the machinima is our top priority and we also have another new series coming out which was announced in the last update (Galaxy Zero). We'll be posting more updates frequently now so make sure you check back more often and stay tuned!

And just a reminder, this is not Planet Zero, it is actually a spin-off series of Planet Zero. For the moment, we are going to call it Galaxy Zero. Like we said, more information will become available soon. So stay tuned!!!

As you all should know, the Blur Multiplayer Beta was recently released. I have made a gameplay video of it however I was unable to upload it to Youtube for certain reasons. So instead, I chose to upload the video on an alternate website. This website actually has better HD quality than youtube and it allows you to upload videos longer than 1o minutes which is exactly what I need for future machinimas. But for now, you can watch my Blur Multiplayer Beta Video on Vimeo, the new video sharing site I'm using. I'll still upload videos to Youtube, but I'll start transitioning machinimas onto Vimeo in the near future.

We also have a lot of videos coming out soon. We'll be uploading them shortly. We'll also be releasing an update video within the next few days that will give you an update on our clan and what's to come. In that video we'll announce our upcoming videos and machinimas. So stay tuned!

New Intro For Our Videos

As some of you might have noticed in our most recent video. We now have a brand new intro for our videos. This shiny new intro is definitely not made in Windows Movie Maker this time by combining effects and transitions. Instead, we used a whole new program to make our intro. Well most of that program. Our intro was made using Adobe After Effects CS4. A tiny little bit of the intro was made in Windows Movie Maker Vista Edition. But what you see in the intro was all Adobe After Effects. We only used Windows Movie Maker to put the two parts of the intro together and add the music into the intro. Also, we used Windows Movie Maker to achieve a higher quality HD intro thanks to Windows Vista. You can look forward to seeing this new intro in all of our future videos including a top secret machinima series aside from Planet Zero that's coming out soon. More announcements will be on their way. In the meantime, stay tuned!

The New Gold Team Productions

There's recently been a lot of changes going on my clan recently. Our lack of videos is kind of an effect of all that change. We've recently broken our alliance with a previous video clan called Kjski9050 productions. We've also formed a new alliance with a new clan called BAMFClanvideos.

Visit their channel here:

What does this alliance/partnership mean? Well, this alliance is a very close integration between our two clans/production groups. We'll be working very closely with their members. Their leader, Ballistik75, will be starring in a lot of our videos from now on. Speaking of our videos, we are also beginning to focus a bit more on machinimas and short videos. Our new line of machinimas will be of a much higher quality than our previous ones. As you also know, our new videos will also be in 1080p HD now. Basically, our entire clan has entered what we call, the 4th generation of the clan. Here is a list of our upcoming videos:

  1. Save The Turtles
  2. Halo 3 vs. Modern Warfare 2
  3. Planet Zero (A Modern Warfare 2 Machinima Series)
You may have also noticed ads appearing on our blog site. Well, don't worry too much about those. The point of those ads is so we can generate a little bit of revenue from the Google AdSense program to help fund our future projects. We're also looking to become a Youtube Partner. So stay tuned for further updates. Our clan is changing a lot.

Planet Zero Machinima

Well, here it is, the synopsis (plot) behind the new upcoming Planet Zero Episodic Machinima.

A team of scientists with the assistance of military personnel discover an ancient artifact buried deep below some ancient ruins on a desert planet far away from Earth. The scientists learn that the artifact is a portal device that transports them to an unknown location. Everyone involved in this project is very interested in getting it to work. However, the original power source used to power the artifact is missing so they must find an alternate source of energy. They decide to drill to the planets core and use the core as a power source for the artifact. However, using the planet's core as a power source is very dangerous because if there is any kind of power disruption or power surge, it could cause the core to go critical. Because of this, the scientists begin debating about whether they should still turn on the device. Before they can finish their debate, their base is attacked by an unknown enemy. At first, they believe it's the covenant that attacked because the enemy used covenant vehicles, but they soon realize that it couldn't be the covenant. The soldiers guarding the base engage the enemy ships in a battle. However, there are too many enemies for them to fend off. During the battle, one of the enemy ships fires on the artifact and the massive conduits connecting it to the planet's core. This sends a shock to the planets core which causes the core to go unstable. Realizing that there's not enough time to leave the planet, the scientists have no choice but to escape through the only way out. The portal. They manage to activate the artifact and they all jump through it. Soon after the military personnel follow the scientists through. A few seconds later, the core finally goes through an unstable critical chain reaction causing the entire planet to explode. In an alternate reality, 2 scientists arrive first. The rest were all split up. Nobody knows where they are or how to get back. For now, their goal is to survive in this new environment.

New Machinima Coming Soon!

Yes, I got my Xbox 360 back. Now the machinima will be an episodic machinima. It will be mostly a modern warfare 2 machinima with a little mix of Halo. I'll release more details later. For now, a lot of clans and production groups are working on this machinima together. The name of the machinima is, "Planet Zero".
